In 2024, Forcier Consulting Engineers received the prestigious Grand Award for Engineering Excellence from the ACEC (Vermont) for our digester project at Savage View Farm in Grand Isle, Vermont. Brian Beaudoin President of ACEC in Vermont presented to John Forcier and Chantal Beliveau. Interestingly, many surnames in Vermont are French rather than English reflecting its unique history.
The model for Agricultural Digesters in Vermont is a “cookie cutter” approach. The same engineering team headed by FCE, the same digester technology provider, the same generator set provider, the same solids separator, same legal team etc. The reason for this is the importance of attracting maintenance and service providers in a relatively remote region.
